What I did this Wednesday....

Hi there, I am sharing some photo's from Wednesday just gone. Scrap 4 Fun held a kids scrapbooking workshop, with the main aim of the workshop to teach making a banner as a title. I was very impressed with their outcomes and will share some of their work with you.

Below Mr T had recently visited the zoo and had some cool zoo photo's to scrap. Mr T. made his banner into a sign post!! See photo's below.

I could not resist putting in this photo of Mr T's. photo....I thought that this sight was soooo cute. Reminded us of the giraffe in Madagascar...
Below Mr E. had some photo's of a recent holiday. Mr E. had the longest title for his scrapping page and did a great job persisting and getting it all finished. Well Done Mr E.!!

Miss K. worked very hard to complete a very special layout about her family. See below.

Miss M. completed two single layouts, one about her BFF's and the other about her holiday.
Some of the kids from the scrapbooking workshop.
Miss J. completed a massive 4 single layouts. I added the one below to show the banner title.
 ....and a close up.
Random picture alert.....I saw these the other day heading out to our property.....it is a herd of emu's ...I normally see one or two and maybe a mother with it's young family but never this many all at once. I couldn't get them all in the picture I think that there may have been a few more in this group.

K's Christmas Cards

Hi Everyone,
Christmas time is getting well on the way here, the girls finish school today, the Christmas tree is up and Chirstmas cards have been sent...
These cute little fairies and elves were soaking up the early sun the other morning and caught my attention. A friend made these....see her work here

 K. made these for her friends at school. I was very proud of her she went and sat at my scrapping desk and about 1/2 hour later had 5 cards ready to write on. After they dried she wrote on them and added a little blue sky (this was added after these photo's)

Over-worked.....read on

Hi there,
This arrived on Sunday while we were out mustering....so hubby has a new toy to play with for awhile. It is meant to have a stickrake on the front....Long story that I am sure you do not want to hear about.

Saw this massive birdy along the road on Sunday too....

I have had a break down in the scrapping room......My corner rounder has died on me....maybe I over worked it.....I do love to round off the occasional corner or two....I couldn't round all the corners on this card so it will be 1/2 rounded and 1/2 sqaure...

Have a good day and round a corner for me....

Birthday and more...

Hi There, Well I am getting over another birthday and then this week there will be another one for hubby.
Hope you had a very Happy Birthday K!!
I did manage to make some cards. It has been rather hot here so in the middle of the day when it is too hot (40oC) outside I can crank up the air-conditioner and sit and craft. I also tidied up my poor neglected scrapping area. This card was very simple and highlighted the nice scrapbook paper. The little white ball in the middle of the flower is a small white pom-pom. A bit hard to see in this pic.
We got a new texture plate and I have been trying it out. I inked over the raised texture with distress ink. I think that it highlights it nicely.
 Here's a close up....
More texture......and a groovy one eyed monster.
Another hot one today....but no crafting for me, we are off to do some mustering. Will have to cool off in some water somewhere...

Curly Christmas Tree

I made Thank-You cards using this idea, see them here, and with the left over paper I made this Christmas Card. I layered the papers with a torn edge toward the botton and curled the paper up on the torn edge. I have used a page from an old book as the backing paper....it just happened to be "Alice in Wonderland".

Now I probably need to write on all my Christmas Cards and get them out.
